(a) A person who is a candidate for elected office or a member of a candidate's committee may not be appointed as a member of the board.\n(b) If an appointed member becomes a:\n(1) candidate for elected office; or\n(2) member of a candidate's committee;\nthe member may not continue to serve on the board.\n(c) An appointed member may not hold elected office while a member of the board.\n(d) The circuit court clerk may not be a member of a candidate's committee other than the clerk's own candidate's committee.","path":["TITLE 3.
