(a) As used in this section, \"law enforcement officer\" means a:\n(1) police officer;\n(2) sheriff;\n(3) constable;\n(4) marshal; or\n(5) deputy of any of those persons.\n(b) A law enforcement officer may not come within the polls or the chute except to do any of the following:\n(1) To serve process of court.\n(2) To vote.\n(3) To be present and assist when summoned by a precinct election officer under section 35 of this chapter.\n(4) To serve as an absentee ballot courier appointed under IC 3-11.5-4-22.","path":["TITLE 3.
