(a) Except as provided in section 38 of this chapter, each county election board shall appoint two (2) election sheriffs for each precinct in the county.\n(b) Each county chairman of a major political party of the county is entitled to nominate one (1) election sheriff under section 9 of this chapter.\n(c) Except as provided in section 39 of this chapter, the sheriffs must be voters of the county.","path":["TITLE 3.
