(a) Except as provided in subsections (b) and (c), the name of an individual who has been nominated as a candidate for an elected office may not appear in more than one (1) place on a ballot.\n(b) The name of an individual who is nominated as a candidate of a political party:\n(1) for a federal office in a primary election; and\n(2) for Vice President of the United States during the same year;\nmay appear on the general election ballot as a candidate for the federal office and for Vice President of the United States.\n(c) The name of an individual who is a candidate to:\n(1) fill a vacancy in the office of United States Representative in a special election held under IC 3-10-8; and\n(2) be elected to the same office for the next term as the United States Representative;\nmay appear on the ballot as a candidate both in the election described in subdivision (1) and the election described in subdivision (2) if both elections are held on the same day.","path":["TITLE 3.
