An application for employment may be rejected if the department determines that the applicant:\n(1) lacks any of the required qualifications;\n(2) is incapable of performing the essential functions of the position that the applicant is seeking;\n(3) has been convicted of a crime;\n(4) has been dismissed from the public service;\n(5) has made a false statement of a material fact; or\n(6) committed or attempted to commit a fraud or deception in connection with submitting an application or attempting to secure an appointment to the state civil service.","path":["TITLE 4.
