(a) An employee covered by this chapter:\n(1) is eligible for;\n(2) must participate in; and\n(3) receives the benefits of;\nthe public employees' retirement fund under IC 5-10.2 and IC 5-10.3.\n(b) An employee holding an hourly, temporary, or intermittent appointment:\n(1) is not eligible to become a member of the public employees' retirement fund; and\n(2) does not earn creditable service for purposes of the public employees' retirement fund for service in those positions.\n(c) Notwithstanding any contrary provision, an employee who served in an intermittent form of temporary employment after June 30, 1986, and before July 1, 2003, shall receive creditable service for the period of intermittent employment.","path":["TITLE 4.
