(a) The commissioner may order a survey of the property if the land office finds a discrepancy between:\n(1) the description of the property in the instrument by which the state acquired title to the property; and\n(2) information contained in the land office.\n(b) The survey plat and field notes of a survey conducted under this section shall be filed in the land office.\n(c) The transferring agency shall pay the cost of the survey made under this section.","path":["TITLE 4.
