(a) The judges, a commission veterinarian, a member of the commission, or the executive director of the commission may order a test of a biological sample on a horse for the purpose of analysis.\n(b) A biological sample shall be taken from the following horses after the running of each race:\n(1) The horse that finishes first in each race.\n(2) Any other horses designated by the judges, a commission veterinarian, a member of the commission, or the executive director of the commission.
