(a) The definitions in IC 3-5-2.1 apply to this section to the extent they do not conflict with the definitions in this article.\n(b) As used in this section, \"candidate\" refers to any of the following:\n(1) A candidate for a state office.\n(2) A candidate for a legislative office.\n(3) A candidate for a local office.\n(c) As used in this section, \"committee\" refers to any of the following:\n(1) A candidate's committee.\n(2) A regular party committee.\n(3) A committee organized by a legislative caucus of the house of the general assembly.\n(4) A committee organized by a legislative caucus of the senate of the general assembly.\n(d) Money distributed to a horsemen's association under section 12 of this chapter may not be used for any of the following purposes:\n(1) To make a contribution to a candidate or a committee.\n(2) For lobbying (as defined in IC 2-7-1-9).","path":["TITLE 4.
