(a) If the attorney general has probable cause to believe a violation of this chapter has occurred, the attorney general may bring an action in the name of the state in connection with a violation of this chapter to seek:\n(1) appropriate injunctive or other equitable relief;\n(2) the costs and expenses of the suit, including reasonable attorney's fees and expert fees; and\n(3) a civil penalty of not more than five hundred dollars ($500).\n(b) If a violation of this chapter is committed intentionally, or constitutes a second or subsequent violation, the attorney general may bring a civil action to recover a civil penalty of not more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000) per violation, in addition to the relief provided in subsection (a)(1) and (a)(2).\n(c) A civil penalty collected under this chapter shall be deposited in the state general fund.","path":["TITLE 4.
