{"data":{"id":"us-in/ic-5-1.2-2-32","jurisdiction":"us-in","citation":"IC 5-1.2-2-32","heading":"\"Health facility\"","body":"Sec. 32. \"Health facility\", for purposes of IC 5-1.2-7, means any facility or building that is:\n(1) owned or used by a participating provider;\n(2) located:\n(A) in Indiana; or\n(B) outside Indiana, if the participating provider that operates the facility or building, or an affiliate of the participating provider, also operates a substantial health facility or facilities, as determined by the authority, in Indiana; and\n(3) utilized, directly or indirectly:\n(A) in:\n(i) health care;\n(ii) habilitation, rehabilitation, or therapeutic services;\n(iii) medical research;\n(iv) the training or teaching of health care personnel; or\n(v) any related supporting services;\n(B) to provide:\n(i) a residential facility for individuals with a physical, mental, or emotional disability;\n(ii) a residential facility for individuals with a physical or mental illness; or\n(iii) a residential facility for the elderly; or\n(C) as a licensed child caring institution that provides residential care described in IC 12-7-2.1-60(1) or corresponding provisions of the laws of the state in which the facility or building is located.","path":["TITLE 5.
