(a) Notwithstanding IC 36-7.5-2-8, the NWIRDA and the NICTD may utilize and may comply with the provisions of:\n(1) IC 5-16;\n(2) IC 5-23;\n(3) IC 5-30;\n(4) IC 5-32;\n(5) IC 36-1-12; or\n(6) any combination of the statutes listed in subdivisions (1) through (5) as determined by the NWIRDA or the NICTD, whichever is appropriate;\nwhen financing, acquiring and constructing a rail project under this article.\n(b) The NWIRDA and the NICTD may contract to finance, acquire, and construct a rail project in accordance with this section.","path":["TITLE 5.
