(a) The executive director or a member of the training staff of the board, when assisting a law enforcement officer or agency in either an advisory or active capacity, has the same powers as the officer or agency receiving the assistance.\n(b) When the executive director or a member of the training staff of the board is assisting a law enforcement officer or agency, the executive director or member of the training staff:\n(1) shall serve under the supervision of the chief official of the agency being assisted; and\n(2) is not entitled to receive any compensation other than that provided by the board.","path":["TITLE 5.
