(a) An individual appointed as a tribal police officer under section 2 of this chapter shall take an appropriate oath of office in the form and manner prescribed by the tribe. A tribal police officer serves at the pleasure of the tribe.\n(b) A tribal police officer who has been afforded police powers under this chapter may be decertified as a law enforcement officer by the law enforcement training board under IC 5-2-1-12.5.","path":["TITLE 5.
