(a) If an application is complete, the division shall accept the application for filing and investigate the facts stated in the application.\n(b) As part of the investigation, the division shall verify that:\n(1) a violent crime was committed;\n(2) the victim was killed or suffered bodily injury as a result of the crime;\n(3) out-of-pocket expense exceeded one hundred dollars ($100);\n(4) loss of income exceeded one hundred dollars ($100); and\n(5) all other requirements of this chapter are met.","path":["TITLE 5.
