(a) The department may contract for the establishment of a statewide wireless public safety voice and data communications system.\n(b) The system must:\n(1) be efficient;\n(2) provide modern two (2) way voice or data communication to user agencies without a duplication of efforts; and\n(3) allow user agencies with compatible equipment to communicate with one another, resulting in the efficient handling of emergencies and cooperation between agencies.","path":["TITLE 5.
