(a) As used in this article, \"state agency\" means:\n(1) a department or office of the executive, including the administrative, branch of state government; and\n(2) separately elected state officers and any department or office of separately elected state officers.\n(b) The term does not include:\n(1) the legislative branch of state government;\n(2) the judicial branch of state government; or\n(3) a state educational institution.","path":["TITLE 5.
