(a) This chapter applies to a person who:\n(1) holds a state, legislative, local, or school board office (all as defined in IC 3-5-2.1);\n(2) is called into active duty in the:\n(A) armed forces of the United States; or\n(B) the national guard; and\n(3) may not appoint a deputy under IC 5-6-2.\n(b) This chapter may not be applied in violation of Article 2, Section 9 of the Constitution of the State of Indiana.","path":["TITLE 5.
