A designating body may, by resolution, do the following:\n(1) Impose a fee for filing an application to designate an area as a zone or to approve a deduction. The fee may be sufficient to defray actual processing and administrative costs associated with the application.\n(2) Establish general written standards for declaring an area as a zone.
