(a) If after notice and hearing the commission finds that a telecommunications provider has violated:\n(1) section 5 of this chapter; or\n(2) rules adopted under section 6 of this chapter;\nthe commission may impose a civil penalty of not more than two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) for each offense.\n(b) The secretary of the commission shall deposit civil penalties collected under subsection (a) in the state general fund.","path":["TITLE 8.
