(a) A TNC shall establish a privacy policy to protect the personal identifying information of a TNC rider.\n(b) A policy established under subsection (a) shall prohibit the disclosure of a TNC rider's personal identifying information unless:\n(1) the TNC rider consents in writing to the disclosure;\n(2) the disclosure is required under law; or\n(3) the disclosure is necessary to:\n(A) protect or defend; or\n(B) investigate violations of;\nthe terms of use of prearranged rides.\n(c) A policy established under subsection (a) may authorize the disclosure of a TNC rider's name and telephone number by a TNC to a TNC driver to facilitate the provision of prearranged rides by the TNC driver to the TNC rider.","path":["TITLE 8.
