(a) All amounts paid to displaced persons under this chapter are exempt from taxation under IC 6-3.\n(b) A payment received under this chapter is not considered as income for the purpose of determining the eligibility or extent of eligibility of any person for public assistance under the following:\nTANF assistance.\nTANF burials.\nTANF IMPACT/J.O.B.S.\nTemporary Assistance to Other Needy Families (TAONF) assistance.\nARCH.\nBlind relief.\nChild care.\nChild welfare adoption assistance.\nChild welfare adoption opportunities.\nChild welfare assistance.\nChild welfare child care improvement.\nChild welfare child abuse.\nChild welfare child abuse and neglect prevention.\nChild welfare children's victim advocacy program.\nChild welfare foster care assistance.\nChild welfare independent living.\nChild welfare medical assistance to wards.\nChild welfare program review action group (PRAG).\nChild welfare special needs adoption.\nFood Stamp administration.\nHealth care for indigent (HIC).\nICES.\nIMPACT (food stamps).\nTitle IV-D (ICETS).\nTitle IV-D child support administration.\nTitle IV-D child support enforcement (parent locator).\nMedicaid assistance.\nMedical services for inmates and patients (590).\nRoom and board assistance (RBA).\nRefugee social service.\nRefugee resettlement.\nRepatriated citizens.\nSSI burials and disabled examinations.\nTitle XIX certification.\nAny other Indiana law administered by the division of family resources or the department of child services.","path":["TITLE 8.
