{"data":{"id":"us-in/ic-9-13-2-10","jurisdiction":"us-in","citation":"IC 9-13-2-10","heading":"\"Automotive salvage recycler\"","body":"Sec. 10. (a) \"Automotive salvage recycler\", except as provided in subsection (b), means a person that:\n(1) acquires damaged, inoperative, discarded, abandoned, or salvage vehicles, or their remains, as stock-in-trade;\n(2) dismantles, shreds, compacts, crushes, or otherwise processes such vehicles or remains for the reclamation and sale of reusable components and parts;\n(3) disposes of recyclable materials to a scrap metal processor or other appropriate facility; or\n(4) performs any combination of these actions.\nFor purposes of this title, a recycling facility, a used parts dealer, and an automotive salvage rebuilder are all considered as an automotive salvage recycler.\n(b) \"Automotive salvage recycler\", for purposes of IC 9-32, does not include a person that holds a valid automobile auction license under IC 9-32 unless the person is a recycling facility, a used parts dealer, or an automotive salvage rebuilder.","path":["TITLE 9.
