{"data":{"id":"us-in/ic-9-13-2-132","jurisdiction":"us-in","citation":"IC 9-13-2-132","heading":"\"Prisoner of war\"","body":"Sec. 132. \"Prisoner of war\" means an individual who, while serving in any capacity with the armed forces of the United States or their reserve components:\n(1) was taken prisoner and held captive:\n(A) while engaged in an action against an enemy of the United States;\n(B) while engaged in military operations involving conflict with an opposing foreign force;\n(C) while serving with friendly forces engaged in an armed conflict against an opposing armed force in which the United States is not a belligerent party; or\n(D) under circumstances comparable to those circumstances under which individuals have generally been held captive by enemy armed forces during periods of armed conflict; and\n(2) either:\n(A) is serving in; or\n(B) under conditions other than dishonorable, was discharged or separated from service in;\nthe armed forces of the United States or their reserve components.","path":["TITLE 9.
