(a) \"Fire lane\", for purposes of IC 9-21-16-5.5, means an area that is:\n(1) located within twelve (12) feet of:\n(A) a building that:\n(i) is occupied for commercial, professional, religious, or any other purpose; and\n(ii) is not a building that is intended for use as a dwelling for one (1) or two (2) families; or\n(B) a sidewalk immediately adjacent to or attached to a building; and\n(2) designated as a fire lane under IC 9-21-16-5.5(c).\n(b) The term includes an alley.","path":["TITLE 9.
