(a) The bureau shall collect an administrative penalty of fifteen dollars ($15) from the following:\n(1) A person that fails to:\n(A) register; or\n(B) provide full payment for the registration of;\nan off-road vehicle or a snowmobile within forty-five (45) days after the date on which the person acquires the off-road vehicle or snowmobile.\n(2) A person that fails to:\n(A) renew; or\n(B) provide full payment for the renewal of;\nthe registration of an off-road vehicle or a snowmobile by the date on which the registration expires.\n(3) A person that:\n(A) owns an off-road vehicle or a snowmobile;\n(B) becomes an Indiana resident; and\n(C) fails to:\n(i) register; or\n(ii) provide full payment for the registration of;\nthe off-road vehicle or snowmobile within sixty (60) days after the person becomes an Indiana resident.\n(b) A penalty collected under subsection (a) shall be deposited in the commission fund.\n(c) A person described in subsection (a) commits a Class C infraction.","path":["TITLE 9.
