(a) Except as provided by subsection (b), this chapter applies to a motor vehicle that is used to provide transportation of passengers by a profit or nonprofit corporation if the corporation receives revenue for the transportation service from federal, state, or local governments.\n(b) This section does not apply to the following:\n(1) A motor vehicle that is manufactured to transport less than six (6) passengers.\n(2) A private bus (as defined in IC 9-13-2-133(a)).","path":["TITLE 9.
