(a) The Indiana department of transportation may designate as an authorized emergency vehicle a vehicle:\n(1) other than an ambulance that is owned by a person other than a hospital; and\n(2) that is used in emergency service.\n(b) The Indiana department of transportation may designate and authorize other emergency vehicles under the rules the department prescribes.","path":["TITLE 9.
