This chapter, including any rules adopted by the bureau to implement this chapter, applies to the following:\n(1) The holder of a commercial driver's license or commercial learner's permit.\n(2) The operator of a commercial motor vehicle.\n(3) A person that employs an operator of a commercial motor vehicle.\n(4) A person that:\n(A) educates or trains an individual; or\n(B) prepares an individual for:\n(i) an examination given by the bureau; or\n(ii) testing described in section 5 of this chapter;\nto operate a commercial motor vehicle as a vocation.\n(5) A student of a person described in subdivision (4).","path":["TITLE 9.
