(a) The bureau shall add a for-hire endorsement to a driver's license if the holder meets the following conditions:\n(1) Is at least eighteen (18) years of age.\n(2) Has held a valid driver's license for more than one (1) year.\n(3) Makes a proper application in a form and manner prescribed by the bureau.\n(4) Satisfactorily passes a written test approved by the bureau.\n(5) Pays a fee of nineteen dollars ($19). The fee shall be distributed as follows:\n(A) Fifty cents ($0.50) to the state motor vehicle technology fund.\n(B) One dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) to the motor vehicle highway account.\n(C) One dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) to the emergency communications fund.\n(D) Sixteen dollars ($16) to the commission fund.\n(b) The bureau may impose an additional fee of twenty-five dollars ($25) if the bureau processes an application for a physical credential under this chapter in a period of time that is shorter than the normal processing period. The bureau shall deposit the fee in the commission fund.\n(c) A fee imposed under this section is in addition to any other fee imposed under this chapter.","path":["TITLE 9.
