(a) This section does not apply to:\n(1) an electric personal assistive mobility device;\n(2) an off-road vehicle; or\n(3) a snowmobile.\n(b) A person may not:\n(1) register a motor vehicle; or\n(2) operate a motor vehicle on a public highway;\nin Indiana if financial responsibility is not in effect with respect to the motor vehicle under section 4 of this chapter, or the person is not otherwise insured in order to operate the motor vehicle.\n(c) A person who violates this section is subject to the suspension of the person's current driving privileges or motor vehicle registration, or both, under this article.","path":["TITLE 9.
