(a) This section applies to vehicles and their component parts that are in either their current model year or in the immediately preceding six (6) model years when purchased by a recycling facility or automotive salvage rebuilder.\n(b) A recycling facility and automotive salvage rebuilder licensed under this chapter shall comply with the recordkeeping requirements under section 15 of this chapter for the purchase of a salvage motor vehicle or major component part.\n(c) A recycling facility or automotive salvage rebuilder that fails to comply with subsection (a) or (b) commits a Class A infraction.","path":["TITLE 9.
