{"data":{"id":"us-ks/k.s.a.-12-12-104","jurisdiction":"us-ks","citation":"K.S.A. 12-12,104","heading":"Definitions.","body":"When used in this act and unless otherwise specifically provided therein:\n(a) \"Board of education\" means the board of education of unified school district No. 470;\n(b) \"city\" means the city of Arkansas city, Kansas;\n(c) \"county\" means Cowley county;\n(d) \"library\" means a library that serves the general public and is supported in whole or in part with tax moneys and shall be called the Arkansas city area library district;\n(e) \"library district\" means all territory located within the boundaries of unified school district No. 470; and\n(f) \"library district board\" means the library district board of trustees appointed pursuant to the provisions of this act.","path":["Chapter 12.—CITIES AND MUNICIPALITIES","Article 12.—LIBRARIES"],"source_url":"https://www.ksrevisor.gov/statutes/chapters/ch12/012_012_0104.html","current_through":"2025 legislative session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T15:10:15Z","sha256":"84d68590ccd6bc8656d9315fe32a5308cc39bdb27ae7a6e80537d7821529116d","source_id":"us-ks","stale":false,"prev":"us-ks/k.s.a.-12-12-103","next":"us-ks/k.s.a.-12-12-105"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
