{"data":{"id":"us-ks/k.s.a.-12-1296","jurisdiction":"us-ks","citation":"K.S.A. 12-1296","heading":"Library district creation; appointed board as provided by joint resolution.","body":"(a) The governing body of the city of Eudora and the Eudora township board shall adopt a joint resolution creating a library district. The joint resolution creating the Eudora community library district shall include the following provisions:\n(1) The library district board shall be appointed as provided in the joint resolution;\n(2) the library district board shall replace the existing Eudora township library board; and\n(3) the Eudora community library district shall maintain the Eudora township public library at the discretion of the library district board.\n(b) A copy of the joint resolution creating the Eudora community library district shall be filed with the county clerk.","path":["Chapter 12.—CITIES AND MUNICIPALITIES","Article 12.—LIBRARIES"],"source_url":"https://www.ksrevisor.gov/statutes/chapters/ch12/012_012_0096.html","current_through":"2025 legislative session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T15:10:15Z","sha256":"7d1b5f4a41e9bd95c007c5cef1130a38e486e67f8e46ef80ae4d6650d79eddc9","source_id":"us-ks","stale":false,"prev":"us-ks/k.s.a.-12-1295","next":"us-ks/k.s.a.-12-1297"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
