{"data":{"id":"us-ks/k.s.a.-2-2125","jurisdiction":"us-ks","citation":"K.S.A. 2-2125","heading":"Penalties for violations.","body":"(a) Any person violating any of the provisions of this act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not less than $25 nor more than $500.\n(b) The secretary, after providing notice and opportunity for a hearing, in accordance with the Kansas administrative procedure act, may assess a civil penalty against any person who violates or fails to comply with the requirements of this act, or any rules or regulations adopted hereunder, of not less than $100 nor more $2,000 per violation. A separate civil penalty may be assessed for each separate violation.
