{"data":{"id":"us-ks/k.s.a.-2-3308","jurisdiction":"us-ks","citation":"K.S.A. 2-3308","heading":"Unlawful acts; criminal penalties.","body":"(a) Except as provided by subsection (b), it is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not exceeding $500 for:\n(1) Any person to engage in chemigation without first obtaining a permit as provided in this act;\n(2) any person to engage in chemigation on a suspended or revoked permit;\n(3) any person to tamper with, or otherwise damage in any way, equipment specified in this act; or\n(4) any permit holder to fail to immediately notify the secretary of any actual or suspected accident resulting from the use of chemigation.\n(b) It is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not exceeding $5,000 per violation for any person to knowingly:\n(1) Commit any act described by subsection (a); or\n(2) commit any unlawful act described by K.S.A. 2-3313, and amendments thereto.","path":["Chapter 2.—AGRICULTURE","Article 33.—CHEMIGATION SAFETY"],"source_url":"https://www.ksrevisor.gov/statutes/chapters/ch02/002_033_0008.html","current_through":"2025 legislative session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T15:09:45Z","sha256":"a96c043662ee53da1f211a1ca4486056920e232aa993a8c01317d0b18fc2af4b","source_id":"us-ks","stale":false,"prev":"us-ks/k.s.a.-2-3307","next":"us-ks/k.s.a.-2-3309"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
