{"data":{"id":"us-ks/k.s.a.-21-6326","jurisdiction":"us-ks","citation":"K.S.A. 21-6326","heading":"Unlawful interference with an emergency medical service provider.","body":"(a) Unlawful interference with an emergency medical service provider is knowingly:\n(1) Interfering with any emergency medical service provider while engaged in the performance of such emergency medical service provider's duties; or\n(2) obstructing, interfering with or impeding the efforts of any emergency medical service provider to reach the location of an emergency.\n(b) Unlawful interference with an emergency medical service provider is a class B person misdemeanor.\n(c) As used in this section, \"emergency medical service provider\" means the same as in K.S.A. 65-6112, and amendments thereto.\n(d) A person who violates the provisions of this section may also be prosecuted for, convicted of and punished for assault or battery.","path":["Chapter 21.—CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS","Article 63.—CRIMES AGAINST THE PUBLIC SAFETY"],"source_url":"https://www.ksrevisor.gov/statutes/chapters/ch21/021_063_0026.html","current_through":"2025 legislative session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T15:11:12Z","sha256":"8040c30ac83b2703bfc456f8fc0a0368a05bb6a14c806c392ca52dd2c5053d19","source_id":"us-ks","stale":false,"prev":"us-ks/k.s.a.-21-6325","next":"us-ks/k.s.a.-21-6327"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
