{"data":{"id":"us-ks/k.s.a.-32-942","jurisdiction":"us-ks","citation":"K.S.A. 32-942","heading":"Fur dealer licenses.","body":"(a) Except as otherwise provided by law or rules and regulations of the secretary, a valid fur dealer license is required to buy, purchase or trade in raw furs, pelts, skins or carcasses of furbearing animals.\n(b) Any person may secure a fur dealer license from the secretary or the secretary's designee by making application and paying the fee prescribed pursuant to K.S.A. 32-988.\n(c) Any person who buys, purchases or trades in raw furs, pelts, skins or carcasses of furbearing animals shall keep a complete up-to-date record, upon forms provided by the secretary, of such information as required by rules and regulations adopted by the secretary in accordance with K.S.A. 32-805, and amendments thereto.\n(d) The secretary may establish, by rules and regulations adopted in accordance with K.S.A. 32-805, and amendments thereto, conditions and procedures under which a person may buy, purchase or trade in raw furs, pelts, skins or carcasses of furbearing animals.","path":["Chapter 32.—WILDLIFE, PARKS AND RECREATION","Article 9.—LICENSES, PERMITS, STAMPS AND OTHER ISSUES"],"source_url":"https://www.ksrevisor.gov/statutes/chapters/ch32/032_009_0042.html","current_through":"2025 legislative session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T15:11:39Z","sha256":"708a159030ec4c234b5cfde5f59bbefb82f62b78e1a5cfa9ad9410eca3212865","source_id":"us-ks","stale":false,"prev":"us-ks/k.s.a.-32-941","next":"us-ks/k.s.a.-32-943"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
