{"data":{"id":"us-ks/k.s.a.-46-1702","jurisdiction":"us-ks","citation":"K.S.A. 46-1702","heading":"Same; powers and duties; annual report.","body":"In addition to other powers and duties authorized or prescribed by law or by the legislative coordinating council, the joint committee on state building construction shall:\n(a) Study all five-year capital improvement and facilities plans and capital improvement budget estimates which are submitted to the joint committee by state agencies in accordance with K.S.A. 75-3717b, and amendments thereto;\n(b) make recommendations on all such five-year capital improvement and facilities plans and capital improvement budget estimates to the ways and means committee of the senate and the committee on appropriations of the house of representatives;\n(c) study the progress and results of all capital improvement projects for the construction of buildings or for major repairs or improvements to buildings for state agencies; and\n(d) make an annual report to the legislative coordinating council as provided in K.S.A. 46-1207, and amendments thereto, and such special reports to committees of the house of representatives and senate as are deemed appropriate by the joint committee.","path":["Chapter 46.—LEGISLATURE","Article 17.—JOINT COMMITTEE ON STATE BUILDING CONSTRUCTION"],"source_url":"https://www.ksrevisor.gov/statutes/chapters/ch46/046_017_0002.html","current_through":"2025 legislative session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-10-15T06:17:21Z","sha256":"7d6260a49e9f4ecb818891bc8dfe17d00f11f04fd4e1966bce55ea469b461424","source_id":"us-ks","stale":false,"prev":"us-ks/k.s.a.-46-1701","next":"us-ks/k.s.a.-46-2101"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
