{"data":{"id":"us-ks/k.s.a.-65-1114","jurisdiction":"us-ks","citation":"K.S.A. 65-1114","heading":"Unlawful acts.","body":"(a) It shall be unlawful for any person:\n(1) To practice or to offer to practice professional nursing in this state;\n(2) to use any title, abbreviation, letters, figures, sign, card or device to indicate that any person is a registered professional nurse;\n(3) to practice or offer to practice practical nursing in this state; or\n(4) to use any title, abbreviation, letters, figures, sign, card or device to indicate that any person is a licensed practical nurse, unless such person has been duly licensed under the provisions of this act.\n(b) It shall be unlawful for any person:\n(1) To practice or offer to practice as an advanced practice registered nurse in this state; or\n(2) to use any title, abbreviation, letters, figures, sign, card or device to indicate that any person is an advanced practice registered nurse, unless such person has been duly issued a license as an advanced practice registered nurse under the Kansas nurse practice act.","path":["Chapter 65.—PUBLIC HEALTH","Article 11.—REGULATION OF NURSING"],"source_url":"https://www.ksrevisor.gov/statutes/chapters/ch65/065_011_0014.html","current_through":"2025 legislative session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-10-15T06:23:01Z","sha256":"0f1105044d859ff5f4e47158e58930dfc2ed22c3039c286c9ec147389e9e4cbf","source_id":"us-ks","stale":false,"prev":"us-ks/k.s.a.-65-1113","next":"us-ks/k.s.a.-65-1115"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
