{"data":{"id":"us-ks/k.s.a.-65-163d","jurisdiction":"us-ks","citation":"K.S.A. 65-163d","heading":"Public water supply project loan program; definitions.","body":"As used in K.S.A. 65-163d through 65-163u, and amendments thereto:\n(a) \"Fund\" means the public water supply loan fund established by K.S.A. 65-163e, and amendments thereto.\n(b) \"Municipality\" means: (1) Any political or taxing subdivision authorized by law to construct, operate and maintain a public water supply system, including water districts; (2) two or more such subdivisions jointly constructing, operating or maintaining a public water supply system; or (3) the Kansas rural water finance authority.\n(c) \"Project\" means any acquisition, construction, reconstruction, improvement, equipping, rehabilitation or extension of all or any part of a public water supply system.\n(d) \"Project costs\" means all costs or expenses which are necessary or incident to a project and which are directly attributable thereto.\n(e) \"Public water supply system\" has the meaning provided by K.S.A. 65-162a, and amendments thereto.\n(f) \"Secretary\" means the secretary of health and environment.","path":["Chapter 65.—PUBLIC HEALTH","Article 1.—SECRETARY OF HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT, ACTIVITIES"],"source_url":"https://www.ksrevisor.gov/statutes/chapters/ch65/065_001_0063d.html","current_through":"2025 legislative session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-10-15T06:23:21Z","sha256":"ef4c238df741edc3d58e1056791c12fa6fc0b56f404e76584f32f3435f5a7ca8","source_id":"us-ks","stale":false,"prev":"us-ks/k.s.a.-65-163c","next":"us-ks/k.s.a.-65-163e"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
