A Kansas student may be awarded grants for not more than eight semesters of undergraduate study or the equivalent thereof, except that a student may be awarded grants for not more than an additional two semesters of study, or the equivalent thereof, when the requirements of the educational program in which the student is enrolled include the completion of a fifth year of study.
