{"data":{"id":"us-ks/k.s.a.-74-4986i","jurisdiction":"us-ks","citation":"K.S.A. 74-4986i","heading":"Same; application of K.S.A. 74-4951 through 74-4970; employee contributions; deductions.","body":"(a) University police officers who become members of the Kansas police and firemen's retirement system shall be subject to all the provisions of K.S.A. 74-4951 through 74-4970 and amendments thereto, except as otherwise provided in this act.\n(b) Beginning with the first payment of compensation for services of a university police officer after becoming a member of the Kansas police and firemen's retirement system, the employer shall deduct from the compensation of such member 7% as employee contributions.
