{"data":{"id":"us-ks/k.s.a.-75-2243a","jurisdiction":"us-ks","citation":"K.S.A. 75-2243a","heading":"Supreme court chamber declared to possess historical interest; use; preservation.","body":"The supreme court chamber located in the southern portion of the third floor of the state capitol building is hereby declared to possess unusual historical interest.\nIn assigning the use of the space and facilities within the supreme court chamber as authorized and provided by K.S.A. 75-3765a, and amendments thereto, and in providing for the improvement, maintenance, repair and upkeep of such chamber as provided by K.S.A. 75-3763, and amendments thereto, the legislative coordinating council shall maintain and preserve the historic French Renaissance architecture, the hand-carved oak paneling and the general decor of the chamber, including the court bench, furniture, pictures and such other items as may be left by the supreme court in its move to its new quarters.","path":["Chapter 75.—STATE DEPARTMENTS; PUBLIC OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES","Article 22.—STATE CAPITOL"],"source_url":"https://www.ksrevisor.gov/statutes/chapters/ch75/075_022_0043a.html","current_through":"2025 legislative session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T15:14:35Z","sha256":"6ad5f202a9ec4859e667b1051129baacf08c0c5b2e568f3099aa1c310395b986","source_id":"us-ks","stale":false,"prev":"us-ks/k.s.a.-75-2242","next":"us-ks/k.s.a.-75-2249"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
