{"data":{"id":"us-ks/k.s.a.-75-3368","jurisdiction":"us-ks","citation":"K.S.A. 75-3368","heading":"Conveyance of certain property to Miami County.","body":"(a) The secretary of the department of social and rehabilitation services is authorized to convey, without consideration, to the Miami county mental health center the following described state property located in Miami county, Kansas, containing 12.34 acres more or less:\nA tract of land in the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 1, Township 18 South, Range 22 East of the Sixth Principal Meridian, being more particularly described as follows:\nBeginning at the Northwest corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 1, Township 18 South, Range 22 East of the Sixth Principal Meridian;\nTHENCE South 01 degrees 43 minutes 24 seconds East for a distance of 229.70 feet, deed \u0026 measured, along the West line of the Northeast Quarter of said Quarter Section to the True Point of Beginning, said point being on the right of way line of Highway 169;\nTHENCE South 78 degrees 05 minutes 00 seconds East for a distance of 284.50 feet, deed \u0026 measured, along said Highway right of way;\nTHENCE South 57 degrees 38 minutes East for a distance of 509.2 feet, by deed, South 57 degrees 23 minutes 21 seconds East for a distance of 509.24 feet, measured, along said right of way;\nTHENCE South 23 degrees 16 minutes West, by deed, South 23 degrees 24 minutes 45 seconds West for a distance of 825.79 feet, measured, along said right of way to a point on the South line of the Northeast Quarter of said Southwest Quarter;\nTHENCE South 89 degrees 30 minutes 17 seconds West for a distance of 346.30 feet, deed \u0026 measured, along said South line to the Southwest corner of the Northeast Quarter of said Quarter Section;\nTHENCE North 01 degrees 43 minutes 24 seconds West for a distance of 1094.48 feet along the West line of the Northeast Quarter of said Quarter Section to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;\nTogether with and subject to covenants, easements and restrictions of record.\n(b) The deed conveying the real estate described under subsection (a) shall be approved by the attorney general and shall be executed by the secretary of the department of social and rehabilitation services.\n(c) The conveyance authorized by this section shall not be subject to the provisions of K.S.A. 75-3043a, and amendments thereto.","path":["Chapter 75.—STATE DEPARTMENTS; PUBLIC OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES","Article 33.—CHILDREN AND FAMILIES"],"source_url":"https://www.ksrevisor.gov/statutes/chapters/ch75/075_033_0068.html","current_through":"2025 legislative session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T15:14:39Z","sha256":"55ca5f55cdab8301f87349dc2aa39c4aede7a6fe7179a5077d03f091aee0a494","source_id":"us-ks","stale":false,"prev":"us-ks/k.s.a.-75-3367","next":"us-ks/k.s.a.-75-3369"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
