{"data":{"id":"us-ks/k.s.a.-75-7720","jurisdiction":"us-ks","citation":"K.S.A. 75-7720","heading":"Grounds for limitation, modification or suspension of license or temporary permit.","body":"(a) The director may limit, modify or suspend any license or temporary permit issued under K.S.A. 2025 Supp. 75-7707 through 75-7719, and amendments thereto, upon any of the following grounds and in the manner provided in this act:\n(1) Violation by the licensee or holder of a temporary permit of any provision of this act, or of the rules and regulations promulgated under this act;\n(2) aiding, abetting or permitting the violation of any provision of this act or of the rules and regulations promulgated under this act;\n(3) conduct in the operation or maintenance, or both the operation and maintenance, of a day care facility that is inimical to the health, safety or welfare of any child receiving services from such day care facility or to the public;\n(4) the conviction of a licensee or holder of a temporary permit, at any time during licensure or during the time that the temporary permit is in effect, of crimes as defined in K.S.A. 2025 Supp. 75-7719, and amendments thereto; and\n(5) a third or subsequent violation by the licensee or holder of a temporary permit of K.S.A. 2025 Supp. 75-7726(b), and amendments thereto.\n(b) This section shall take effect on and after July 1, 2026.","path":["Chapter 75.—STATE DEPARTMENTS; PUBLIC OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES","Article 77.—KANSAS OFFICE OF EARLY CHILDHOOD"],"source_url":"https://www.ksrevisor.gov/statutes/chapters/ch75/075_077_0020.html","current_through":"2025 legislative session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T15:14:55Z","sha256":"ce7574894da31418e488f841792001e4ef3a2b4333f7b62777d0e288aa547736","source_id":"us-ks","stale":false,"prev":"us-ks/k.s.a.-75-7719","next":"us-ks/k.s.a.-75-7721"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
