{"data":{"id":"us-ks/k.s.a.-76-2007f","jurisdiction":"us-ks","citation":"K.S.A. 76-2007f","heading":"Same; restrictions and limitations on lease.","body":"Each of the leases entered into pursuant to the provisions of this act shall contain the following restrictions or limitations on the use of the tracts of land so leased: (a) No earth-altering operation, other than landscaping, shall be undertaken on such property without the written consent of: (1) The Kansas state historical society, with respect to that portion of the tract of land described in subsection (a)(1) of K.S.A. 76-2007d which is under the jurisdiction of said society; or (2) the state board of regents, with respect to that portion of the tract of land described in subsection (a)(1) of K.S.A. 76-2007d which is under the jurisdiction of said board and the tract of land described in subsection (a)(2) of K.S.A. 76-2007d;\n(b) the city, or its designated agent, shall be liable for any damage to any state-owned property or injury to any persons; and\n(c) the state shall reserve the right to enter the premises and excavate any area of historical significance on the property leased.","path":["Chapter 76.—STATE INSTITUTIONS AND AGENCIES; HISTORICAL PROPERTY","Article 20.—HISTORICAL PROPERTY"],"source_url":"https://www.ksrevisor.gov/statutes/chapters/ch76/076_020_0007f.html","current_through":"2025 legislative session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T15:15:03Z","sha256":"d9b47a8ba7f7efdc0deb17003d599043bb6b6e316ca1b034de61b89d62a68b57","source_id":"us-ks","stale":false,"prev":"us-ks/k.s.a.-76-2007e","next":"us-ks/k.s.a.-76-2007g"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
