{"data":{"id":"us-ks/k.s.a.-8-1566","jurisdiction":"us-ks","citation":"K.S.A. 8-1566","heading":"Reckless driving, penalties.","body":"(a) Any person who drives any vehicle in willful or wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property is guilty of reckless driving.\n(b) Except as provided in K.S.A. 8-2,142, violation of this section is a misdemeanor. Upon a first conviction of a violation of this section, a person shall be sentenced to not less than five days nor more than 90 days imprisonment or fined not less than $25 nor more than $500, or both such fine and imprisonment.
