{"data":{"id":"us-ks/k.s.a.-8-2447","jurisdiction":"us-ks","citation":"K.S.A. 8-2447","heading":"Exemption from certain provisions of act for dealers and manufacturers of certain trailers.","body":"(a) Except as provided in subsection (b), the provisions of K.S.A. 8-2414 through 8-2416, 8-2419, 8-2430, 8-2431, 8-2438, 8-2439, 8-2445 and 8-2446, and amendments thereto, shall not apply to dealers and manufacturers of trailers, as defined in K.S.A. 8-126, and amendments thereto.\n(b) The provisions of subsection (a) shall not apply to:\n(1) Dealers and manufacturers of semitrailers or travel trailers, as those terms are defined in K.S.A. 8-126, and amendments thereto; and\n(2) a dealer in the sale or exchange of any other type of vehicle other than trailers.\n(c) The provisions of this section shall be a part of and supplemental to the vehicle dealers and manufacturers licensing act.","path":["Chapter 8.—AUTOMOBILES AND OTHER VEHICLES","Article 24.—LICENSURE OF VEHICLE SALES AND MANUFACTURE"],"source_url":"https://www.ksrevisor.gov/statutes/chapters/ch08/008_024_0047.html","current_through":"2025 legislative session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T15:10:01Z","sha256":"557570624c0da5b237d430d96fe849cfa73a8799866e8032751ac14aef42434a","source_id":"us-ks","stale":false,"prev":"us-ks/k.s.a.-8-2446","next":"us-ks/k.s.a.-8-2501"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
