{"data":{"id":"us-ks/k.s.a.-80-113","jurisdiction":"us-ks","citation":"K.S.A. 80-113","heading":"Bonds for reconstruction, repair and equipment of buildings; amount authorized; election.","body":"(a) For the purpose of obtaining funds for the reconstruction, repair and equipment of township buildings, a township board may issue general obligation bonds as follows:\n(1) For any township with a population of not more than 5,000, the township board is authorized to issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed 1% of the assessed tangible valuation of such township;\n(2) for any township with a population of more than 5,000 but not more than 10,000, the township board is authorized to issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed 5% of the assessed tangible valuation of such township; and\n(3) for any township with a population of more than 10,000, the township board is authorized to issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed 10% of the assessed tangible valuation of such township.\n(c)* No township shall issue any such bonds until and after an election therefor has been held in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 80-104 and 80-105, and amendments thereto.","path":["Chapter 80.—TOWNSHIPS AND TOWNSHIP OFFICERS","Article 1.—GENERAL PROVISIONS"],"source_url":"https://www.ksrevisor.gov/statutes/chapters/ch80/080_001_0013.html","current_through":"2025 legislative session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T15:15:22Z","sha256":"ca1d1dc22d1e152ff2a530509810a01938b609b35712932c90fe43babe0e5025","source_id":"us-ks","stale":false,"prev":"us-ks/k.s.a.-80-112","next":"us-ks/k.s.a.-80-114"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
